Oak spelk (or swill) baskets are native to the Furness Fells of South Cumbria. The basket’s bools (rims) are oval in shape and the size refers to the measurement along the longest length. These robust yet handsome Lakeland baskets have many uses and will last a lifetime.
Due to the nature of the harvest and manufacture process the baskets may vary in colour and detail to the one pictured.
